A recently retired couple planned to settle down in their rabbit warren of an apartment. But the thought of spending years cooped up in a dark and depressing '90s nightmare understandably upset them.
Instead they turned to C+M Studio who have gutted and transformed the apartment, inspired by a palette of warm natural materials and curvaceous walls that echo the character of nearby Manly beach.
The apartment is now an inviting open plan living space, juxtaposed with tranquil private spaces hidden behind doors set in to the curved timber feature wall. All with a relaxed, beachy vibe.
