Fancy tiny house living, but not sure you could commit without trying it out first? CABN offers you the chance to take a tiny house for a test stay and, in the process, disconnect and de-stress, surrounded by nature. If you like it? You can buy one for yourself, or host one on your property for others to enjoy (and generate a bit of side-income for yourself in the process.
"Somewhere along the way, we lost touch. With ourselves and what is most important – our environment and the people in it." - CABN
CABN is designed as a retreat from modern life - a place to disconnect from technology and reconnect with each other. Set in the Adelaide Hills on 180 acres of natural scrubland, with nearby walking tracks, creeks, stunning scenery and, yes, wine, this CABN is the perfect place to take a digital detox.
CABN is off-grid and self-contained, with a daybed, overlooking the bushland, kitchen, bathroom and king-sized loft bed, they contain everything you need for a comfortable retreat in just 15 square metres.
"Think bushwalking, forest, creeks, waterfalls and bird watching. Expect kangaroos, drop bears and bandicoots. Wake up to the sound of magpies and kookaburras heralding the dawn. Gaze up at the night sky, with a warming nip in hand."
CABNs use locally-sourced materials and can be customised for different locations or needs. If more people could experience tiny house living, perhaps more of us would realise we don't need so much and appreciate the benefits of downsizing.
