The Week that Was - Pony Edition

It was a quiet week at LBA this week. Mostly because I gave myself a long weekend for the Melbourne Cup. If it's a race that stops a nation, it can stop me too. But in the spirit of those athletic horses, the three homes featured this week include enough land to house a pony or two…

We started the week with a home that looks like a whacky barn from the entry, but once inside your attention quickly focusses on a stunning view of the ocean and nearby Tasman Island. Then, after a two day break with not nearly enough affordable sparking white, we took a look at a home where, if the walls could talk, they would brag that they were the perfect choice for this project. Finally we wrapped up the week with a home that somehow manages to satisfy the competing tastes of a sensible engineer and slightly chaotic author. I do not envy that architect's job!
